Server FAQ

Can I also purchase SAPPHIRE server access in the shop?

• You can purchase SAPPHIRE access either in the server selection or directly in the shop.

Do I require a DRAGON subscription?

• No active subscription is required to play on SAPPHIRE. You only need the one-time access purchase.

Can I play on SAPPHIRE without Metin+?

• Yes, you do not need Metin+ membership to play on SAPPHIRE; only the one-time purchase of access is required.

Can I trade/gift access to other players?

• It is unfortunately not possible to gift SAPPHIRE access, not even with our new packs.
• Since access can be purchased for Dragon Coins, however, it is indirectly possible to gift access via DR Vouchers.

Can players from RU Россия, GR Ελλάδα, AE العالم العربي also participate?

• These players can participate by creating an account in one of the SAPPHIRE regions.

Can players from the WEST Tigerghost server also participate?

• Tigerghost players will have to create a separate account to join the SAPPHIRE servers.

Can I purchase additional charges separately from access?

• Charges can currently only be purchased via packs in the shop or in the server selection.
• For players who require access for more than 3 game accounts on the same Gameforge account, we recommend purchasing a pack for the 4th account to get access for up to 6 accounts.

I bought a pack with the wrong account and now have access for an account I don’t want to play with. Can I change it?

• Unfortunately it isn’t possible to transfer or refund access, as the access is granted immediately upon purchase.

If a new server is launched in my region, can I use my existing charges for it?

• No, charges and access packs are server-specific and cannot be used for other servers, even if these are SAPPHIRE servers.

Metin+ FAQ

Can I purchase Metin+ on other servers?

• You can only purchase and manage Metin+ on SAPPHIRE servers.
• The various effects (account buffs, titles etc.) do however apply to all characters on your account.
• We will expand purchasing and managing Metin+ to other servers at a later juncture.

My characters are missing one or more titles. What can I do?

• Please open the Metin+ membership page to check your current rank.
• In some cases you may need to wait for the next (daily) update for the title to be applied (e.g. for new characters).
• After purchasing Metin+ in the shop, you can select a temporary title matching your rank in the shop, in order to bridge the time until the next automatic update.

Will I be informed when I lose or gain a rank?

• There is no special notification system, so please check the management page regularly.

I can’t find my discounted DM offers in the shop. What can I do?

• It’s possible that your Metin+ membership has expired or you have dropped in rank. Please check your status on the membership management page in the website pop-up and then check the shop again.

How does the membership auto-renewal work?

• Auto-renewal allows you to ensure that you don’t drop below a certain threshold of Metin+ days and lose a rank.
• If your remaining membership falls below the chosen number of days, Dragon Coins (DR) will be automatically withdrawn from your account to extend your Metin+ membership by 30 days.
• Using this feature also saves you 10% of the DR cost (10% discount).

Why can I not select the auto-renewal option?

• You can only use the auto-renewal feature if you have more time on your account than the chosen threshold.
• That means you need at least 26 days remaining on your account to choose the 26-day option.
• For the 61-day option, you need at least 61 days remaining.

My auto-renewals were interrupted. What happened?

• If the auto-renewal is triggered while your DR balance is insufficient, the renewal will not be processed and future auto-renewals will be deactivated.
• To protect your account, auto-renewals are also interrupted if your account is (temporarily) banned when the auto-renewal is triggered.

I forgot to deactivate auto-renewals and now have more time than I need. Can I refund this time?

• Unfortunately no time added by auto-renewals can be refunded or withdrawn.
• If you don’t need the time on SAPPHIRE any more, don’t worry, the benefits still apply for other servers (only the management is limited to SAPPHIRE).

I won! Where can I find my raffle items?

• The winners are drawn at the end of every month and the rewards delivered straight to your item depot.
• The Lucky title is applied to your characters directly and not place in the item depot.

Can I participate in the raffle even after my membership has expired?

• All entries you collected during your membership will count towards the raffle. And should you win with these entries, you will of course receive your rewards.

What rewards can I win in the raffle? Do I get all the rewards displayed?

• The raffle rewards are changed each month and shown on the raffle page in the website pop-up.
• If you’re drawn as a winner, you’ll receive all 6 items!

I wasn’t able to collect my Metin+ premium mission rewards. What can I do?

• If you membership expires before you can collect a mission reward, the button to claim the reward will no longer be usable.
• The only solution then is to become an active Metin+ member once more.

I have reached the required champion level or completed another requirement for a higher rank. Why has my rank not changed?

• Please note that checking the rank prerequisites may take some (several hours) depending on server load.
• Repeatedly refreshing the page in quick succession will not do anything to accelerate this, as pages are cached to reduce server load.

• Entry requirement: Playing on these servers requires a one-time purchase of SAPPHIRE Access (details below)

What the Servers Offer

Come to the SAPPHIRE servers and enjoy lots of benefits:

• Play the Echoes of Power Event.
• Enjoy base rates of +50% item drops on the server.
• Meet the NPC Uriel and get additional EXP boosts from +25% up to +125% for characters above level 40.
• Show off your skills by claiming some server firsts.
• Gear up for the World Boss and Flower Power Events.
• Take part in extra weekly events and missions.
• Kit yourself out with Apprentice Chests and Weapons for Young Heroes.

New Membership: Metin+

Together with the SAPPHIRE servers, we’re opening up access to a new membership which can be purchased for Dragon Coins: Metin+!

As a Metin+ member you will see this displayed in the game as an account buff. This allows you to see your remaining duration at any time with any of your characters across all servers. The benefits are managed via special pages in the website pop-up.

Those most important benefits in a nutshell:

• Additional premium mission rewards on the SAPPHIRE servers.
• Up to three selectable account buffs which you can activate during your membership at no additional cost.
• The right to purchase highly discounted Loot Pass and Personal Premium Shop items for up to 15 days for Dragon Marks in the shop.
• Exclusive titles for all your characters (across all servers) which display your status.
• Automatic entry to monthly raffles with extremely valuable prizes.

The membership can be purchased in three ways:

• In the regular shop for Dragon Coins (only on SAPPHIRE servers)
• Via the Management button in the website pop-up for Dragon Coins (only on SAPPHIRE servers)
• Via the auto-renewal feature on the management page of the website pop-up (only on SAPPHIRE servers)

Missions

You can find an overview of the available missions in the website pop-up on the SAPPHIRE servers.

• Complete weekly and monthly missions to earn fantastic rewards.
• Pick up the Loot Pass, Magic Stones and much more to gear up for your adventurers.
• As a Metin+ member you can also get additional exclusive rewards, such as a loot pet, the Flame of the Dragon and much more!

Daily Rotating Events & Item Drops

Server Firsts

As with earlier server events (e.g. RUBY and EMERALD servers), the SAPPHIRE servers also offer special rewards for those players who achieve certain server firsts, including loot pets, Ritual Stones, Nazar Amulets and much more! You can find more details in the website pop-up in the game.

Access to the SAPPHIRE Servers

In order to access the SAPPHIRE servers, you need to purchase a one-time entry pack (similar to the RUBY servers). You have two options for this:

• Either purchase an item (*Oceana/Azure/Safir Server Access*) for access to the SAPPHIRE servers in the server selection.
• Or as a regular purchase in the shop with a character on an existing server.

Inspired by requests from the Metin2 community, we’ve also worked on a new system which will make it possible to gain discounted access for second and third accounts:

• In addition to the server access items, there are now also packs which provide 2 entries for half the price:
• Oceana Pack
• Azure Pack
• Safir Pack
• These packs provide 1x direct access to the respective SAPPHIRE server (for the account of the character who purchases the pack), plus 2 charges which you can use in the server selection to gain access to the same SAPPHIRE server for a game account. Access charges can be used by any game account belonging to the Gameforge account of the character who purchased them.

Notes

• Access is server-specific; packs and charges only provide access to the specific server in their names.
• The charges cannot be used for servers in other regions or for other SAPPHIRE servers, even if additional servers are launched in the respective region.

Metin+ Details

Metin+ Management

As a Metin+ member, you have access to a management page for powerful account buffs. On this page you can do the following:

• See how much time is remaining, manually add more time, or (de)activate auto-renewals.
• See your current membership rank (more details below), as well as how many account buffs are available to you.
• View your active buffs and manage the next buff for your account.

Please choose your buffs carefully, as they cannot always be changed immediately:

• If there is no ‘Currently active’ buff (i.e. no buff has been activated), selecting a buff will activate it immediately (requires your character to log back in).
• If there is already a ‘Currently active’ buff, the new buff will be queued for the next activation.
• Queued buffs are activated daily at 1 AM UTC and then apply for 24 hours (until the next activation).
• You only need to select a buff once. For example, if you have the Thief’s Gloves active as your first buff, you do not need to select it again, it will be automatically renewed every day at 1 AM UTC.
• The same rules apply for the second and third account buffs. The only restriction is that the buffs 1, 2 and 3 must be different (e.g. you cannot activate the Thief’s Gloves three times).

Please note that buffs are only updated daily at 1 AM UTC while your Metin+ membership has the necessary rank. If your membership expires or your rank falls, the buffs will be locked and expire the following day at 1 AM UTC.

Metin+ Membership Ranks

Membership is divided into 4 ranks, with each subsequent rank unlocking additional benefits.

Each player with Metin+ starts with the rank Regular and immediately benefits from a selectable account buff, access to the raffles, titles, premium mission rewards and DM per month.

The subsequent ranks of Heroic, Legendary and the top rank of Mythic, each provide additional benefits.

In order to reach and maintain a higher rank, certain requirements must be fulfilled, such as having a high-level character, having a long Metin+ membership, or using our top-up methods in recent months.

Metin+ Premium Mission Rewards

All players on SAPPHIRE can participate in weekly and monthly missions which offer exclusive rewards for playing on the new server. As a Metin+ member (all ranks), you get access to additional rewards for completing missions.

Please not that both the regular and the Metin+ rewards must be collected via the Claim button. The Claim button for Metin+ members is only available while the membership is active. If the membership expires before the rewards are collected, the button will be locked.

Metin+ Discounts on DM Purchases

You can collect a Loot Pass (5 Days) and a Personal Premium Shop (5 Days) for just 69 Dragon Marks each. Each can be collected up to 3 times per month, depending on your rank, allowing a maximum of 15 days’ duration at the highest rank. Combining these 15 days with the 15 days from the SAPPHIRE missions, and you can ultimately get 30 days of each of these features on SAPPHIRE.

How it works:

You must be a Metin+ member to view and use these DM offers.

Depending on rank, you can then purchase the items at a heavily discounted DM price:

• Regular: 1x per month
• Heroic/Legendary: 2x per month
• Mythic: 3x per month

Upon purchase, the items will be delivered to your item shop storeroom as usual.

Exclusive Metin+ Titles

These unique titles appear above your character name and give you a personalised look. As a Metin+ member you get titles for **all your characters**. The higher your rank, the more choice you have.

• Regular: Metin+ title (animated Metin2 logo)
• Heroic: all the above plus Heroic title with special plate
• Legendary: all the above plus Legendary title with special plate
• Mythic: all the above plus Mythic title with special plate

The titles remain active as long as you have the respective Metin+ membership rank.

Monthly Metin+ Raffle

Each day as a Metin+ member earns you entries to the raffle. The higher your rank, the more you receive:

• Ten winners are chosen at random at 1 PM on the last day of the month.
• The rewards are automatically delivered to the item depot.
• You can see if and what you have won on the raffle page.

Rewards vary each month and amongst others include:

• Dragon Tongs+
• Nazar Amulet
• Royal Sash (noble)
• Lucky title for all characters (permanent)

With the server mergers, all character equipment and items have been transferred to the respective account's item warehouse. If your items are not there, it means that you were sharing an account and someone removed them.

We also remind you that apprentice chests are sent to the City Guard and you have up to 7 days to collect them after your first login.

However, these types of situations should be handled via ticket and not the forum.

Its not a Game Team decision to close registrations but Gameforge decision.

About cheaters, yes, since we are fighting againts machines that the only difference for them is choosing the server where the script/cheat will run. When the servers are closed they have to change some codes that give us some time to fight for.

This type of error usually occurs because the game frequency (metin2.cfg file) loses the value “60” and has to be added manually.

You can also completely reinstall the game by deleting the old folders, which sometimes works.

Easter Event Improvements

With an eye to the Easter Event in April, we’ve made some changes to improve the event:

• More inventory space & better overview: Various features have been moved to the event window.
• No more back and forth: Once you’ve proven your trustworthiness, you can redeem your eggs directly without having to traipse back to the Easter Bunny every time.
• Better rewards for higher levels: Nothing changes up to level 75, but there are now better rewards above that!
• Easter Metin Stones now also appear in the six Yohara regions.
