Between 9th May and 18th May, you can look forward to thrice the event action: scoop up some epic loot during Metin Fever, go on a Treasure Hunt and travel to face the challenges of the Otherworld, with fabulous rewards in store! Continue reading to learn all you need to know about the three events:

Event: Metin Fever

Caution: Metin Fever is on the rise! Destroy the Metin stones and face off against menacing bosses – Beran-Setaou, Jotun Thrym, Mysterious Monk and many other enemies are carriers of hefty loot!

• Starts: 9th May 2025 at midnight (CEST)
• Ends: 11th May 2025 at 11:59 PM (CEST)

Destroy 5 Metin stones in your level range (from level 30) and receive 1 Challenge Scroll daily. With this scroll you can summon a special Metin stone which you must destroy to face an especially difficult opponent. Tip: Luck is on your side on the continent of Yohara – the probability of even more dangerous bosses appearing is much higher in Yohara.

Event: Welcome to Treasure Island!

Land ahoy! Long believed lost, Treasure Island has emerged from under the ocean waves once more! Head out on a great adventure full of treasures and challenges, and scoop up some amazing rewards!

• Starts: 12th May 2025 at midnight (CEST)
• Ends: 18th May 2025 at 11:59 PM (CEST)

The event is available to characters of level 70+ on all servers.

Find Mysterious Treasure Tickets

During the event, you have a chance to find a valuable Treasure Ticket in the following chests:

• Silver Treasure Chest, Silver Treasure Chest+
• Gold Treasure Chest, Gold Treasure Chest+
• Platinum Treasure Chest
• Kelpie Chest
• Perfect Talisman, Necklace, Earring and Bracelet Chests
• Nam Gwang, Yilad, Dong Gwang and Seo Gwang Treasure Chests
• Damnation Chest, Damnation Chest+

Collect Precious Doubloons

Once you have your hands on a Treasure Ticket, it’s time to head for Treasure Island! Use the ticket to reach the island where the Treasure Goblin is waiting for you. Talk to him and spend some Yang to give him the following buffs:

• Increase his HP by 20%
• Increase his defence by 50
• Increase his movement speed by 100
• Grant him immunity to poison

After buffing the goblin, escort him on his quest to recover the treasure chests. You have a limit of 30 minutes to complete this mission.

• On the way you can find up to three treasure chests, but only one of them will be the real treasure!
• It’s your job to protect the goblin from the monsters who will attack him during this time. You’ll be rewarded with 1 Doubloon for every monster you defeat.
• If either you or the Treasure Goblin dies on the way, the mission fails.
• As soon as the goblin has discovered the real treasure chest, the mission is completed and you receive 100 Doubloons.
• Please note that you can only carry a maximum of 999 Doubloons.

Goblin Keys

In order to exchange your hard earned Doubloons for cool rewards, you’ll need Goblin Keys. These can be obtained in two different ways:

• Escorting the Treasure Goblin to the correct chest 5 times.
• Exchanging rewards.

Rewards for Doubloons & Goblin Keys

Open the event rewards menu via the event banner.

• Spend 90 Doubloons to fill the playing field with rewards.
• You’ll need a Goblin Key per reward.
• The first reward is always free and doesn’t need a key!
• Rewards are divided into different levels. The more rewards you collect, the higher your counter will read. After collecting 9 rewards in succession, your counter will increase by 1 point.
• New reward levels are unlocked once your counter reaches 3, 5 and 10 respectively.

• The first 50 players to increase their counters to 9 will receive a buff which allows them to refine an item without the required materials.

Event: Missions in the Otherworld

Prepare for an unparalleled challenge, where exciting missions, mysterious enemies, and fantastic rewards await you in the Otherworld!

• Ends: 18th May 2025 at 11:59 PM (CEST)

Our special adventure portal website with the new missions will remain accessible until one day after the event (until 11:59 PM CEST on 19th May).

The Mission Portal

There’s a pop-up webpage in the game for the missions. Open it to get an overview of your progress, including all the details on your missions and rewards.

Important Mission Info

Complete missions to earn rewards! Your progress will be updated every few hours, which may take a few moments to appear. Sometimes missions you have already completed will still be marked as open while the server updates your progress. Repeatable missions will only be reset once you have collected the reward, so remember to pick them up regularly.

• Daily missions are reset each day at 11:59 PM CEST.
• Weekly missions are reset each Sunday at 11:59 PM CEST.
• Monthly missions are reset on the last day of the month at 11:59 PM CEST. As these missions are repeatable, you can keep getting rewards from them!
• The unique missions can only be completed once.
• Some missions are only available once you reach a certain level or champion level.
• Once you unlock a reward, click on it to collect it. The reward will be sent to the mailbox of your currently active character.

Missions in the Otherworld

There are six different missions available for your Journey to the Otherworld, some are daily, some once per event, and some unique. There are plenty of rewards waiting for you, like the Damnation Key+, Cor Draconis (Antique) and much more!

Event: Journey to the Otherworld

Descend into the Otherworld and brave four devilish trials: face off against the four emissaries of the Otherworld and earn your right to take part in the ultimate confrontation against the Lord of Damnation.

Along your journey to the Otherworld you can earn precious materials for crafting the Damnation Shield or the Phoenix of Redemption. The event takes part in two phases:

First Phase

• Starts: 12th May 2025 at midnight (CEST)
• Ends: 16th May 2025 at 11:00 PM (CEST)

In the first phase of the event, the boundaries to the Otherworld are weakening, and you can play for items which you will require in the second phase by defeating monsters and gathering Death Flames. You can exchange them for Asmodeus Keys, Black Letters, Water of Life, and Dead Souls. At the end of this phase, the Otherworld Portal becomes available and you can journey through to the other side.

Second Phase

• Starts: 17th May 2025 at midnight (CEST)
• Ends: 18th May 2025 at 11:59 PM (CEST)

In the second phase, you must battle through the Otherworld. Here you will need to call upon the items which you gathered in the first phase. Confront the four emissaries for the right to face Asmodeus. Of course, you’ll have a chance to get some great rewards from these preliminary fights too. If you are successful and manage to defeat the mighty Asmodeus, you can enter the divine room of Salvation, where even more rewards await you.

Enter the Dungeon

• The Otherworld is a hellish place which you must cross before facing Asmodeus, King of the Otherworld. You can reach the Otherworld by travelling through the portal at Cape Dragon Fire. You’ll need 3 Black Letters before you can pass through the portal. The Otherworld consists of four rooms. Each room has an emissary who you must face in battle.
• Damnation is the place of judgement – here you will face your final opponent, Asmodeus. Use Dead Souls to weaken Asmodeus. If you want a significant advantage in combat against him, wear the Damnation set. The Otherworld Talisman also provides you with succour against Asmodeus’ dark arts. As ruler of the Otherworld, Asmodeus cannot ever truly be defeated there; indeed, he will return from the dead soon after you have defeated him, allowing you to face him again. The more often you manage to defeat him, the greater your reward.

Event Items

• The Black Letter allows you to enter the Otherworld. Obtained using 1 Death Flame (80% chance).
• Use Water of Life to revive you in the Otherworld. Obtained using 5 Death Flames (80% chance).
• Use Dead Souls to reduce Asmodeus’ maximum HP. Obtained using 10 Death Flames (80% chance).
• The Asmodeus Key allows you to enter Damnation directly and face Asmodeus. Using it allows you to skip the four trials when you don’t want to have to defeat each emissary.

• Make a €4.99 purchase = 1 raffle ticket
• Make a €9.00 purchase = 1 raffle ticket
• Make a €14.49 purchase = 2 raffle tickets
• Make a €3.99 purchase and then a €7.00 purchase = 1 raffle ticket (multiple purchases from the same account won’t be counted together – each purchase is counted separately!)
• Make a €99.99 purchase = 20 raffle tickets

FAQ

Here is some more information about the raffle.

Which items will be given out, and where?

Each cluster will have the chance to win the items in the list. So, one raffle each for Turkey, Western Europe, and Eastern Europe. So you’re only raffling against players from your cluster.

How will I be informed if I win something?

You’ll receive an in-game message, sent to all the characters of the account that has won. Any items you win will be tagged ‘RAFFLE’ in your item depot, so you know which are which.

How do I get tickets?

Each purchase of €4.99 gets you 1 raffle ticket. So, a €10 purchase would give you 2 raffle tickets. Each purchase is counted separately – multiple purchases will not be added together. So, a €3.00 purchase and a €7.00 purchase would give you 1 raffle ticket, not 2, because only one of these purchases is above €4.99. While the raffle is running, each eligible purchase you make will be tracked and your tickets will be added together for when the raffle is drawn (e.g. 1x €50 purchase and 1x €25 purchase = 15 raffle tickets total).

Are there any extra steps I need to do before I can take part?

No, there are no additional steps, costs, or things to sign up for. Each eligible purchase you make while the raffle is running will be counted automatically.

I can’t see the Metin2 Shop banner. Can I still take part?

Make sure to check whether there is a campaign running – the banner will only appear during an active campaign. If the campaign is active but you still can’t see the banner, it’s likely that your region or currency isn’t eligible to take part in the campaign. This may be due to official holidays or statutory provisions.

Where can I find an item I’ve won?

If you win, the item will be delivered to your item depot and tagged ‘RAFFLE’. You must collect the item within 11 days of delivery, otherwise it will disappear. Each character in your Metin2 account has access to the items, but each item can only be collected once.

How will the winners be chosen?

The winners will be chosen at random after the raffle ends. Each raffle ticket generated while the raffle was running will be counted. Each cluster will have its own raffle. It’s possible for you to win multiple times if you have multiple tickets and more than one of them gets drawn, as each ticket has its own identification number.

Do I need to use a specific payment method in order to take part?

Any successfully completed purchase counts towards the raffle. Any bank transactions left uncompleted or that are in dispute after the raffle ends will not be counted. Gameforge coupons are not a valid purchase method for the raffle, but Oyunfor e-pins will be counted.

Can I see how many raffle tickets I have?

No, you won’t be able to see how many raffle tickets you have. As the data for the raffle is collected separately, Support also does not have access to this information and will not be able to tell you how many raffle tickets you have.

How do I participate using a currency other than Euros?

Each purchase will automatically be converted into Euros at the time of sale. We are unable to guarantee a fixed value for currency conversions into Euros due to exchange rate fluctuations.

What you need to know:

To access the servers you need to use a confirmed email address. The first time you access one of the new servers (not existing servers) using a new account may trigger a special verification process. Don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with your client or your connection! In addition, Apprentice Chests and Weapons for Young Heroes are deactivated on the new servers.

Complete this challenge and reach 4 milestones:

• Milestone 1: Get a Normal Horse by 4th May and receive a reward of 3x Scroll of Forgetfulness and 1x Teleportation Ring.
• Milestone 2: Get a Battle Horse by 18th May and receive a reward of 3x Scroll of Forgetfulness and 100x Tiger Coins.
• Milestone 3: Get a Military Horse by 1st June and receive a reward of 50x Fodder and 250x Tiger Coins.
• Milestone 4: Get a Mighty War Horse by 10th July and receive a reward of 50x Fodder, 5x Red Ginseng (Premium), 1x Revigrass and 500x Tiger Coins.

The Quest Ranking

You earn rank points on the new servers by completing main quests, side quests and biologist quests. You can find your current ranking via the three dots menu in the Gameforge Client. The rankings will stay until 1st June. All players who rank 1 to 10 for their kingdom will get corresponding rewards expected in the weeks following the end of the rankings.

Egg Hunt

Fancy spending your Easter hunting for eggs and munching on chocolate bunnies? No chance! The monsters were way faster at finding the eggs and have already snatched them all up. Hunt them down, retrieve those colourful tasty treats, and swap them for some well-deserved rewards!

New: The most recent update moved your Easter eggs into the Event Window. If you still have Easter eggs left over from last year, you can use them and move them over there.

Please note: Once this year’s Easter Event is complete, we’ll be cleaning out all the left over Easter eggs from previous years during server maintenance. Any left over eggs you have will be permanently deleted from your inventory. So make sure you use all your event items during this year’s Easter Event, so you can get all your valuable goodies.

Exchanging Easter Eggs

You now have two options for exchanging your Easter Eggs:

• With the Easter Bunny in every village
• Via the event window (accessible anywhere)

Requirements for exchanging via the event window:

• Only available to level 61+ characters
• Only available after collecting each egg once
• Only available after exchanging 30 eggs with the Easter Bunny

New Rewards

• For level 91–105 characters: Additional chance to get Dragon God Attack, Dragon God Defence, Passage Ticket, and more
• For level 106–120 characters: Additional chance to get Dragon God Attack, Dragon God Defence, Passage Ticket, Protein Snack, Cor Daemonis (Rough), and more
• Rewards for level 1–90 characters remain unchanged.
• Now you’ll get a much higher Easter egg drop chance when hunting bosses and Metins.

Easter Metins and Magic Eggs

Make scrambled eggs out of those Easter Metins and with any luck you might find a valuable Magic Egg inside. Each Magic Egg can be opened three times and contains treasures such as Enchant Item, magic pearls, and rare Blue Dragon Beans.

Between 1st April and 7th April, you can look forward to twice the event action: go on a Treasure Hunt and travel to face the challenges of the Otherworld, with fabulous rewards in store! Continue reading to learn all you need to know about the two events:

Event: Welcome to Treasure Island!

Land ahoy! Long believed lost, Treasure Island has emerged from under the ocean waves once more! Head out on a great adventure full of treasures and challenges, and scoop up some amazing rewards!

• Starts: 1st April 2025 at midnight (CEST)
• Ends: 7th April 2025 at 11:59 PM (CEST)

The event is available to characters of level 70+ on all servers.

Find Mysterious Treasure Tickets

During the event, you have a chance to find a valuable Treasure Ticket in the following chests:

• Silver Treasure Chest, Silver Treasure Chest+
• Gold Treasure Chest, Gold Treasure Chest+
• Platinum Treasure Chest
• Kelpie Chest
• Perfect Talisman, Necklace, Earring and Bracelet Chests
• Nam Gwang, Yilad, Dong Gwang and Seo Gwang Treasure Chests
• Damnation Chest, Damnation Chest+

Collect Precious Doubloons

Once you have your hands on a Treasure Ticket, it’s time to head for Treasure Island! Use the ticket to reach the island where the Treasure Goblin is waiting for you. Talk to him and spend some Yang to give him the following buffs:

• Increase his HP by 20%
• Increase his defence by 50
• Increase his movement speed by 100
• Grant him immunity to poison

After buffing the goblin, escort him on his quest to recover the treasure chests. You have a limit of 30 minutes to complete this mission.

• On the way you can find up to three treasure chests, but only one of them will be the real treasure!
• It’s your job to protect the goblin from the monsters who will attack him during this time. You’ll be rewarded with 1 Doubloon for every monster you defeat.
• If either you or the Treasure Goblin dies on the way, the mission fails.
• As soon as the goblin has discovered the real treasure chest, the mission is completed and you receive 100 Doubloons.
• Please note that you can only carry a maximum of 999 Doubloons.

Goblin Keys

In order to exchange your hard earned Doubloons for cool rewards, you’ll need Goblin Keys. These can be obtained in two different ways:

• Escorting the Treasure Goblin to the correct chest 5 times.
• Exchanging rewards.

Rewards for Doubloons & Goblin Keys

Open the event rewards menu via the event banner.

• Spend 90 Doubloons to fill the playing field with rewards.
• You’ll need a Goblin Key per reward.
• The first reward is always free and doesn’t need a key!
• Rewards are divided into different levels. The more rewards you collect, the higher your counter will read. After collecting 9 rewards in succession, your counter will increase by 1 point.
• New reward levels are unlocked once your counter reaches 3, 5 and 10 respectively.

Important Mission Info

Complete missions to earn rewards! Your progress will be updated every few hours, which may take a few moments to appear. Sometimes missions you have already completed will still be marked as open while the server updates your progress. Repeatable missions will only be reset once you have collected the reward, so remember to pick them up regularly.

• Daily missions are reset each day at 11:59 PM CEST.
• Weekly missions are reset each Sunday at 11:59 PM CEST.
• Monthly missions are reset on the last day of the month at 11:59 PM CEST. As these missions are repeatable, you can keep getting rewards from them!
• The unique missions can only be completed once.

Missions in the Otherworld

Event: Journey to the Otherworld

Descend into the Otherworld and brave four devilish trials: face off against the four emissaries of the Otherworld and earn your right to take part in the ultimate confrontation against the Lord of Damnation.

Along your journey to the Otherworld you can earn precious materials for crafting the Damnation Shield or the Phoenix of Redemption. The event takes part in two phases:

First Phase

• Starts: 1st April 2025 at midnight (CEST)
• Ends: 5th April 2025 at 11:00 PM (CEST)

In the first phase of the event, the boundaries to the Otherworld are weakening, and you can play for items which you will require in the second phase by defeating monsters and gathering Death Flames. You can exchange them for Asmodeus Keys, Black Letters, Water of Life, and Dead Souls. At the end of this phase, the Otherworld Portal becomes available and you can journey through to the other side.

Second Phase

• Starts: 6th April 2025 at midnight (CEST)
• Ends: 7th April 2025 at 11:59 PM (CEST)

In the second phase, you must battle through the Otherworld. Here you will need to call upon the items which you gathered in the first phase. Confront the four emissaries for the right to face Asmodeus. Of course, you’ll have a chance to get some great rewards from these preliminary fights too. If you are successful and manage to defeat the mighty Asmodeus, you can enter the divine room of Salvation, where even more rewards await you.

Enter the Dungeon

• The Otherworld is a hellish place which you must cross before facing Asmodeus, King of the Otherworld. You can reach the Otherworld by travelling through the portal at Cape Dragon Fire. You’ll need 3 Black Letters before you can pass through the portal. The Otherworld consists of four rooms. Each room has an emissary who you must face in battle.
• Damnation is the place of judgement – here you will face your final opponent, Asmodeus. Use Dead Souls to weaken Asmodeus. If you want a significant advantage in combat against him, wear the Damnation set. The Otherworld Talisman also provides you with succour against Asmodeus’ dark arts. As ruler of the Otherworld, Asmodeus cannot ever truly be defeated there; indeed, he will return from the dead soon after you have defeated him, allowing you to face him again. The more often you manage to defeat him, the greater your reward.

Event Items

• The Black Letter allows you to enter the Otherworld. Obtained using 1 Death Flame (80% chance).
• Use Water of Life to revive you in the Otherworld. Obtained using 5 Death Flames (80% chance).
• Use Dead Souls to reduce Asmodeus’ maximum HP. Obtained using 10 Death Flames (80% chance).
• The Asmodeus Key allows you to enter Damnation directly and face Asmodeus. Using it allows you to skip the four trials when you don’t want to have to defeat each emissary.

The Yohara Boost servers are now closed and registration for transferring characters is open! We hope you had lots of fun on our winter servers and were able to create a fearsome new character who is now well equipped for the perils of the continent of Yohara.

Register now to transfer your character to a regular server and turbocharge your adventures!

Important Closure/Transfer Dates

• The Yohara Boost servers have been closed since 10th February 2025 (10 AM CET) and registrations for transferring are open.
• Transfer registrations are open from 10th February (10 AM) to 19th February 2025 (9 AM CET).
• Characters will be transferred during regular server maintenance on Wednesdays 12th and 19th February 2025.

Character Transfers

You can choose which character you want to transfer to another server between 10th February 2025 (10 AM) and 19th February 2025 (9 AM CET). First, visit our website and select the character you wish to transfer, as well as which server they should be transferred to. (You can also select a second character, if you have unlocked this option.)

You’ll find the character transfer link in the Gameforge launcher.

Important: During the server maintenance, we will transfer all the characters that players have selected to their chosen servers. There will be no other opportunity to transfer your characters, and any remaining characters will be deleted after the maintenance!

The Yohara Boost servers launched last year in November, and so many of you seized the opportunity to enjoy the tons of great benefits available, creating powerful characters and laying claim to the valuable rewards. But now the Yohara Boost era is coming to a close.

In this post we want to inform you of everything you need to know for when the Yohara Boost servers close and you want to transfer your character to a regular Metin2 server.

Character Transfers

After the Yohara Boost servers end, you can transfer up to 2 characters to the regular servers. Character Transfer Dates

• The Yohara Boost servers will remain open until 10th February 2025, 10 AM CET, with transfer registrations opening the same day.
• Transfer registrations are open from 10th February (10 AM) to 19th February 2025 (9 AM CET).
• Characters will be transferred during regular server maintenance on Wednesdays 12th and 19th February 2025.

Transfer Levels I and II: You can unlock the transfer levels I and II for your character via missions in the pop-up. (Transfer level II can alternatively be purchased. A second character transfer can also be purchased.)

• Level I: With this you can transfer your character, Gaya and the equipment you’re wearing, plus the contents of your item shop storeroom.
• Level II: With this you can also transfer equipped costumes and alchemy items, the first page of your inventory and your belt inventory.
• Please note that the item shop storeroom will be transferred with the first character.

Note the following requirements for transferring characters:

• You can only transfer to servers where you are currently allowed to play.
• If you are from Tigerghost, you can only transfer to this server.
• It isn’t possible to transfer to one of the 3 ONYX servers.
• Transfers to RUBY or EMERALD servers are possible if you already have access or a subscription.
• It is not possible to transfer to Marmara.

If your hero is at least level 90, you can click on Wrap to bundle together 50 Roses or Chocolates. These wrapped items can be traded.
