Read on to learn everything you need to know about the DIAMOND servers!

    The DIAMOND Servers

    • Starts: 7th August 2026 at 10 AM (CEST)
    • Entry requirement: Playing on these servers requires a one-time purchase of DIAMOND Access (details below)

    These are our DIA servers:

    • Western Europe: [DIA] Blos
    • Eastern Europe: [DIA] Dem
    • Turkey: [DIA] Nite

    New System: Area Control

On the DIAMOND servers, guilds can join one of seven areas to try to secure control of it! There are 7 areas, and each guild is automatically assigned to an area when it is founded. Each week, the best guild per area can decide the following:

    • Which additional bosses spawn in the controlled areas
    • Which additional buffs all of the area’s guilds receive (EXP, item drop rate, Yang)
    • Which premium items are sent to all of this area’s guilds

In addition, all seven area rulers will become members of the World Council. The council votes on the following things each week:

    • Additional bosses in neutral areas (Nemere, Razador, Bagjanamu)
    • Which additional global buffs all players should get (EXP, item drop rate, Yang)
    • Which event will run the following weekend Overall you can reach up to +150% item drop rate bonus as a guild member, if all buff combos are activated! You can find more information on these features and benefits further below.

New to DIAMOND servers are the achievements surrounding the Heart of Greed, where the first group can enjoy 50x Aamon’s Lavish Chests amongst others! You can find more details in the website pop-up in the game.

    Access to the DIAMOND Servers

In order to access the DIAMOND servers, you need to purchase a one-time entry pack. You have two options for this:

    • Either purchase an item (Blos/Dem/Nite Server Access) for access to the DIAMOND servers in the server selection.
    • Or as a regular purchase in the shop with a character on an existing server.

In addition, this year we once again have discount bundles for second and third accounts, with packs offering access for 4 accounts (one for free!):

    • Blos Pack
    • Dem Pack
    • Nite Pack
    • Gain 1x direct access to the respective DIAMOND server with these packs (for the account of the character who purchases them). You also receive 3 charges which you can use in the server selection to gain access to the same DIAMOND server for a game account. Access charges can be used by any game account belonging to the Gameforge account of the character who purchased them.

    m2_fdcc3f7483a847d8083fbc73a85fa040.png

    Notes

    • Access is server-specific; packs and charges only provide access to the specific server in their names.
    • The charges cannot be used for servers in other regions or for other DIAMOND servers, even if additional servers are launched in the respective region.

    A-EXP & Levels

When joining an area as a guild, you start at level 0. All guild members can earn A-EXP for their guild by completing missions. The area level is unique to a guild (it is not a level shared with other guilds in the same area), and represents the guild’s knowledge and experience of the specific area.

Reaching higher area levels unlocks additional benefits for the guild in that area:

    • Level 0: Daily, weekly and monthly missions are unlocked.
    • Level 1: Area-specific buffs (see above) are permanently unlocked for all guild members.
    • Level 2: An additional mission becomes available for the guild to complete.
    • Level 3: Area-specific buffs become stronger.
    • Max. Level: A permanent area-specific title for all current guild members becomes available, and the guild receives an Area Token.

The Area Token can be spent to change a guild’s current area to any another area. Please note, however, that you start the new area at level 0, unless you have already reached the maximum level in another area and unlocked level 1 for another random area with the excess A-EXP. As a bonus for this, you immediately start out in new areas at level 1. If you return to a previously levelled up area, you start at the level you previously reached.

All A-EXP you earn in an area remains saved permanently. This allows you to return to a previous area which you have levelled up or even maxed out, and pick up your progress from there. Switching areas carries a one-day cooldown.

    Missions & AP

In addition to the A-EXP which can be earned by completing missions, you also receive AP (Area Points). While A-EXP is permanently saved and accumulated per area, all guild members’ AP is reset each week. AP allows your guild to show how active it is and indicates how hard it is fighting for supremacy in an area. The cumulative AP determines which guild will become the ruler of the area.

    How AP works in details:

    • All missions completed between Monday, midnight and Sunday, 11:59 PM (CET/CEST) earn the indicated amount of AP for your guild.
    • The following Monday, 10:00 AM (CET/CEST), a new ruler is determined for each area.
    • If two or more guilds have the same amount of AP in an area, the guild which reached this score first will win out.
    • You can view the current AP of all guilds in an area at any time via the website pop-up.

Of course, you earn not only AP and A-EXP for your guild by completing missions, but also the regular rewards. These include TC Vouchers, Cor Draconis (Rough), Loot Passes, Personal Premium Shops and many more items. A complete overview of mission rewards can be found in the game via the website. As before, certain rewards are exclusively available with a Metin+ membership.

    Area Rulers

As the ruler of the area, you make the decisions for your area, and get to choose various bonuses. All members of the controlling guild also get a special title for the duration of their reign! Apart from that, only the guild leader can make the following decisions (though they should probably consult with their guild members first). Note that area rulers can only make their decisions on Mondays between 10 AM and 11:59 PM. Those decisions will then be activated from midnight on Tuesday (CET/CEST). If no choices are made, then the default option for all decisions will be chosen for the coming period.

    Setting Grades

Each setting is available in three grades: Default, Extended and Veteran. It will not be possible to simply set everything to Veteran, but the ruler of the area will have to choose the best for their guild (as far as possible). More options will become available the longer the same guild rules over an area (‘reigning bonus’):

    • One week: 2x Extended (no Veteran)
    • Two weeks: 2x Extended and 1x Veteran
    • Three weeks+: 3x Extended and 2x Veteran

Setting 1: Buffs: In addition to already active buffs (depending on the current guild area level), all guilds belonging to this area receive additional buffs. These are added on top of existing bonuses. The strength of the additional buffs depends on the area ruler’s level:

    • Default: +5% to +20% to various buff types (EXP, item drop rate, Yang)
    • Extended: +10% to +25% to various buff types (EXP, item drop rate, Yang)
    • Veteran: +15% to +35% to various buff types (EXP, item drop rate, Yang)

Note: The distribution of the buff types remains dependent on the area. Each area however gets the same amount of additional buff. For example, the area default might provide +5% EXP, +20% item drop rate and +5% Yang, for a total of +30% additional buffs.

Setting 2: Bosses: As the area ruler, you get the opportunity to determine which opponents will appear daily in the three zones of your area. These opponents can be hunted by all players and drop their usual item and Yang loot upon defeat.

The selection depends on the area ruler’s level:

    • Default: Enemies of lower to medium difficulty
    • Extended: Enemies of medium to higher difficulty
    • Veteran: Enemies of higher to champion difficulty Defeated bosses reappear after a few hours, on each channel separately. This does not require any action on the part of the guild leader. Full details on the possible opponents can be found on the website. Which enemies are available depends on the respective area and zone.

Setting 3: Items: Once per week, after the area rulers have chosen their settings and the system has been activated, players in guilds receive various items by GM mail. All players in the area’s guilds receive:

    • Default: 10x Teleport Stone
    • Extended: 1x Time Spiral (30%)
    • Veteran: 2x Cor Daemonis (Rough)

Members of the guild which rules the area also receive:

    • Default: 2x Enchant Item
    • Extended: 1x Cor Draconis (Antique)
    • Veteran: 2x Flame of the Dragon

As you can see, it is worthwhile just being a guild member in an area to benefit from the weekly rewards. But you will enjoy even better benefits if your guild manages to take control of and defend an area!

    World Council

The World Council is a gathering of the seven area rulers who make additional powerful decisions together. These decisions similarly have to be made on Monday between 10 AM and 11:59 PM (CET/CEST). However in this case it is a vote, where each area ruler chooses one of the options available, and the option with the most votes will be activated. If no decision is made, the first option will be activated automatically in each case.

Vote 1: Bosses The World Council has the option to summon bosses to neutral zones. These include the Elemental Realm, as well as Yayang Area, Bokjung Area and Bakra Area. Possible options:

    • Various bosses including Razador
    • Various bosses including Bagjanamu
    • Various bosses including Nemere

Vote 2: Buffs The World Council also has the power to activate additional buffs, but they have to choose a particular focus. The buffs are activated for all players, even those who are not members of a guild. Possible options:

    • 100% EXP, 50% item drop rate, 25% Yang
    • 25% EXP, 100% item drop rate, 50% Yang
    • 50% EXP, 75% item drop rate, 50% Yang

The item drop rate percentages above (identical to how they are displayed in the game/pop-up) include the default 50% increase active on the server. Hence for example it is possible to reach a +150% total item drop rate (+50% server settings, +50% from the World Council, +35% from area control, and +15% from area level).

Vote 3: Events The decision over which event will be active on the following weekend also lies in the World Council’s hands. The chosen event will be activated from Saturday, 8:00 PM until Sunday, 11:59 PM (CET/CEST). Possible events:

    • Metin Fever
    • Moonlight Treasure Chest Drops
    • Fishing Jigsaw

    AP Blessing and A-EXP Blessing

Whether you are a guild leader or a new guild member, everyone has their contribution to play through completing missions to earn AP for the rankings and A-EXP for the area level! Do you want to be of even greater help to your guild? Then take a look at the AP Blessing and A-EXP Blessing! These two blessings can each be purchased for 7 days (for Dragon Coins directly on the website), and double the amount of AP or A-EXP you earn from the moment of purchase. The blessing only counts for you and your quests, and is bound to the account and server cluster where you are playing. If you switch guilds or your guild changes area, the blessings continue to apply without interruption. Each character on your Metin2 account on this server will benefit from the blessing.

    Server Access FAQ

Can I also purchase DIAMOND server access in the shop?

    • You can purchase DIAMOND access either in the server selection or directly in the shop.

Can I also enjoy the benefits of Metin+ membership on the DIAMOND servers?

    • Yes, you can access account buffs and additional rewards with the optional Metin+ membership on the DIAMOND servers.

Can I trade/gift access to other players?

    • It is unfortunately not possible to gift DIAMOND access, not even with our new packs.
    • Since access can be purchased for Dragon Coins, however, it is indirectly possible to gift access via DR Vouchers.

Can players from RU Россия, GR Ελλάδα, AE العالم العربي also participate?

    • These players can participate by creating an account in one of the DIAMOND regions.

Can players from the WEST Tigerghost server also participate?

    • Tigerghost players will have to create a separate account to join the DIAMOND servers.

Can I purchase additional charges separately from access?

    • Charges can currently only be purchased via packs in the shop or in the server selection.
    • For players who require access for more than 4 game accounts on the same Gameforge account, we recommend purchasing a pack for the 5th account to get access for up to 8 accounts.

I bought a pack with the wrong account and now have access for an account I don’t want to play with. Can I change it?

    • Unfortunately it isn’t possible to transfer or refund access, as the access is granted immediately upon purchase.

If a new server is launched in my region, can I use my existing charges for it?

    • No, charges and access packs are server-specific and cannot be used for other servers, even if these are DIAMOND servers.

    Area Control FAQ

Who decides which area my guild belongs to?

    • At the beginning, every guild will be automatically assigned to an area.
    • Afterwards the guild leader can decide whether to move the guild to another area.
    • Ultimately it is the guild leader who makes all the important decisions for their guild, including decisions for the entire area if their guild should become area ruler. The only responsibility the individual guild members have is whether to apply an AP/A-EXP Blessing.

    Can my area level fall?

    • No, reaching an area level is permanent.
    • The level can only potentially drop if your guild moves to another area, where you may need to start from a lower level.

What happens if the guild leader is inactive or changes on a Monday?

    • If the guild leader is inactive, then decisions for the various settings on the DIAMOND server will be made automatically.
    • If the guild leader changes on a Monday whilst they are area rulers, the new guild leader can make the decisions (assuming the previous guild leader had not already submitted their votes).
    • If the guild leader is inactive in the World Council, their votes are automatically assigned to the first option.

I misclicked when selecting my options. Can I change my choice?

    • Area decisions can be changed until midnight, after which time neither the area rulers nor our customer support can alter the decision.
    • Votes given in the World Council cannot be changed afterwards.

Can you explain how it works to earn points and become ruler? Let’s take the first two full weeks after the servers launch:

    • Week 1: Monday, 10th August to Sunday, 16th August
    • Week 2: Monday, 17th August to Sunday, 23rd August
    • Your guild earns AP for completing missions between Monday and Sunday (week 1).
    • When week 1 ends (Sunday, 16th August 11:59 PM → Monday, 17th August, midnight), the AP are reset for the start of a new week. Any AP earned at this point will count towards week 2.
    • Simultaneously, the existing week 1 area rulers will become regular guild leaders again.
    • The AP earned in week 1 is now used to determine which guild becomes the new week’s area rulers.
    • This happens by 10 AM on Monday, 17th August. Between 10 AM and 11:59 PM, the new week 2 area rulers can make their decisions.
    • At 11:59 PM on Monday, 17th August, all previously made decisions will expire (buffs, bosses and items for week 1), and at midnight on Tuesday, 18th August, the newly made decisions will enter into effect (area rulers and the World Council).
    • The events from week 2’s World Council will then take place on Saturday (22nd August, 8 PM) to Sunday (23rd August, 11:59 PM).

What happens if there is no area rulers or these make no selections?

    • There should only ever be no area rulers for the first 3 days after the servers launch, in which case the default options will be activated.
    • The same thing happens if the area rulers don’t make any choices, i.e. there will always be active buffs, boss spawns and items via GM mail. However, if the area rulers make active decisions, the stats will generally be better.

What are guild missions? Is this a new mission type?

    • Guild missions are special new monthly missions on the website.
    • These demand a larger number of activities (e.g. completing a guild dungeon 30 times).
    • What’s ‘new’ about this is that each player can achieve progress for their guild and the A-EXP for completion is credited to the guild.
    • Plus, ALL guild members can request/receive the rewards, whether or not they participated (assuming they were members of the guild when the mission was completed and don’t leave the guild before completion).
    • The same mission type exists for Metin+ members, whereby only Metin+ membership characters can contribute to the mission progress and receive the rewards.

What can I do as a regular guild member?

    • Without members, a guild has no chance to compete for control of an area against other guilds.
    • It also needs active members to increase its area level and unlock better buffs!
    • Aside from that, members can view the settings on the website (for the various areas) and contribute to tactical discussions with their guild leader. Would it perhaps be easier to wrest control from another guild in another area?
    • There’s also a personal AP ranking list, where the top 25 players per kingdom can pick up extra monthly rewards for their performance!

Do I have to wait until 7 days have elapsed on my AP/A-EXP Blessing before I extend it?

    • No, we simply offer 7-day versions so each player can determine the amount of time they need themselves.
    • You can purchase this version as often as you like and stack the time.
    • Please note that as with other website purchases, you will not be credited with Dragon Marks for your purchases.

How does the ‘reigning bonus’ work with area control?

    • If the same guild remains the rulers of an area for multiple weeks in succession (changes of guild leader have no impact), then they get more powerful options to choose from.
    • Changing areas or losing control of an area for a week is all it takes for this bonus to be reset.
    • Hence it is worth giving everything for your guild so you can activate the best options and keep other guilds in the same area at bay.
