The ONYX Servers

Event: Echoes of Power
Pick up an Echo of Strength or Echo of Talent, charge it up directly (or strengthen it first), then defeat your enemies with up to double normal attack or skill damage! Full details on this feature can be found in our previously released preview.
NPC Finder & Teleportation
From level 10, unlock the new NPC Finder feature and discover new maps and teleport options. Full details on this feature can be found in our previously released preview.
Boss Summons
Complete weekly missions, snap up Summoning Tokens and summon bosses in your own private instance! The following missions are available:
Start mission (not repeatable, once per account)
- Reach level 10
- Receive the NPC Finder to unlock the new feature for your character
- Receive 10 Teleport Stones to use the teleport feature
Mission 1: The Power of 10 (repeatable weekly)
- Kill 10 bosses, destroy 10 Metin stones and receive 10 Cor Draconis with the Power of the Dragon Eye
- Receive 30 Silver Summoning Tokens to summon bosses
- Receive 30 Teleport Stones to use the teleport feature
Mission 2: Unravelling the Enigma (repeatable weekly)
- Complete an Enigma Temple
- Receive 3 Gold Summoning Tokens to summon bosses
- Receive 20 Teleport Stones to use the teleport feature
Mission 3: Eradicate Outposts (repeatable weekly)
- Destroy 1 of Sung Mahi’s outposts
- Receive 2 Gold Summoning Tokens to summon bosses

Server Firsts
As with earlier server events (e.g. RUBY and EMERALD servers), the ONYX servers also offer special rewards for those players who achieve certain server firsts, including loot pets, Ritual Stones, Nazar Amulets and much more! You can find more details in the website pop-up in the game.
ONYX Server Access
In order to join the ONYX servers, you’ll need an active DRAGON subscription. The subscription is the same as for the EMERALD servers, but now also grants access to the new ONYX servers. That means you automatically have access to both servers (EMERALD + ONYX) with a single DRAGON subscription. Simply click on DRAGON in the launcher and navigate through the page which opens up. You can dive straight into your ONYX server once you have confirmed your subscription. As an alternative to the 30-day subscription, you can also top up 90 or 180 days of playing time on your account with no automatic renewal.
Note on Access
- The DRAGON subscription is region-locked, meaning that if you have a WEST account, you can only play on the WEST region server.
- If you don’t have a Metin2 account yet, the DRAGON button won’t be visible in the launcher. Please launch the game once first.
FAQ
Can I purchase ONYX server access in the shop?
- Access can only be purchased via the DRAGON button in the Gameforge Client.
What is this DRAGON subscription? What will happen to my EMERALD subscription?
- The EMERALD subscription has simply been renamed to fit multiple different server types.
- The prices and features remain otherwise unaffected, except that you also get access to ONYX with your DRAGON subscription.
When are the weekly missions reset?
- Every Monday morning at midnight CEST.
Can I only use the NPC Finder with one character?
- You can unlock the map once via missions at character level 10.
- If you want to use the map with multiple characters, then you can collect more unlocks from the shop for free (max. 1 per day).
I’ve received a playing time coupon. What can I do with it?
- You can redeem this coupon via the membership menu (the DRAGON button in the client) to add time to your account.
I have an active membership. Can I still redeem a playing time coupon?
- Yes, you can! Your account will be credited with the time and your next subscription payment will be automatically delayed by the according number of days.
Can I trade/gift access to other players?
- Access is only possible via your specific subscription, and cannot be traded in the game.
Can players from RU Россия, GR Ελλάδα, AE العالم العربي also participate?
- These players can participate by creating an account in one of the ONYX regions.
Can players from the WEST Tigerghost server also participate?
- Unfortunately, Tigerghost players will have to create a separate account to join the ONYX servers.
