    • New Fishing Fun, Fortune Chests with Epic Rewards, Event Overview and More

      Dear players,
The next update brings you a fully overhauled fishing system, Fortune Chests containing great rewards, an improved overview of events and much more!

      Here’s what to expect:

      [*] Fishing Redux
Grab your tackle and experience fishing in Metin2 in a new light – the fishing system has had a complete overhaul. As soon as you cast your line, a new interface opens up showing the fish swimming around. Now your agility comes to the fore as you try to catch that fish three times with your mouse to have a chance to pull it out of the water. Lots of new varieties of fish are waiting in the waters. One very special catch is the extremely rare Golden Tuna! Release this critter back into the water and you have a chance to unlock the special Golden Tuna Bonus. Alternatively, you can slice it open and cross your fingers for a special reward.

Also new to the game are the Kelpie Chests. With a bit of good fortune, you’ll find yourself fishing a matching key from the depths. These chests may contain the materials required for the new Carbon Fibre Fishing Rod. Drag the materials onto the Fisherman and have him put this rod together for you. You’ll have an increased chance of some big catches for 30 days with the high-quality Carbon Fibre Fishing Rod to hand.

      [*] Who likes Sushi?
Bring Octavio fresh fish and he’ll cook up some tasty sushi for you!

[*] Red and Blue Fortune Chests
Two new chests are making their way into the game. The Fortune Chests in red and blue each contain a random reward, but here’s the kicker: if you don’t like the item, you can click the ‘New Item Fortune’ button to pay a Yang fee and change the item. You can re-roll the item up to 15 times, each time doubling the fee. Make use of this opportunity to get great rewards such as Pet or Gaya Chests, Dragon Bone jewellery, the Mobile Mailbox and much more! The Red Fortune Chest is available from the item shop, the Blue Fortune Chest from the Gaya Market.

[*] Event UI provides full overview
Check out the new Event UI to see exactly what events are active, when they’re finishing and what you stand to win! The overview can be found behind the small ‘E’ next to the minimap.

      [*] New item for belts
Increase your chances when crafting belts with the new Iron Seal. You can use up to 40 at once.

      [*] More game news:
We’re integrating a new anti-cheat tool in the game with this version.

Happy fishing and enjoy the new features!
